Armand Rosamilia is a New Jersey-born, full-time horror and crime thriller author who has lived in Florida since 2001 and become one of the most prolific independent authors in the entire directory, with more than 200 published stories across zombie fiction, crime thrillers, Bigfoot and cryptid horror, and heavy metal nonfiction. Cassie Dandridge Selleck is a Mayo author born and raised in Leesburg in Central Florida, who spent ten years at Merrill Lynch and worked in library outreach and marketing before publishing her debut novel, The Pecan Man, in 2012. Set in the fictionalized version of her hometown and narrated by a widow who hires a homeless Black man to do yard work only to watch him wrongly accused of murder, the novel has been compared to To Kill a Mockingbird and The Help, has sold over 150,000 copies, was produced as an audiobook by Blackstone, and was optioned for film by BCDF Pictures. Its success allowed her to leave full-time work and return to school, earning a BFA in Creative Writing at Goddard College. Her Beanie Bradsher series, set in a fictionalized Mayo, draws on the town she now calls home along the Suwannee River.
